Design, develop and produce all Exclusive Brands for all categories. Brands include Shyanne, Cody James, Moonshine Spirit by Brad Paisley and Bootbarn Ranch. Launched Idyllwind fueled by Miranda Lambert, Moonshine Spirit Denim, Gibson and Hawx Workwear(Fall 2018). Categories include, men's, women's, kids, jewelry, accessories, home, gifts and boots(both western & work).
Design,develop, source, produce all Private Brand merchandise for Men's, Womens, Kids, Accessories, Jewelry, Footwear, Home & Gifts. Manage a team of 16, including designers, product developers, production managers and technical design team. Opened Hong Kong sourcing office, consisting of a team of 5- July 2015. Responsible for 11 brands including the launch of Moonshine Spirit by Brad Paisley in October 2014. Other brands are Shyanne, Shyanne Life, Cody James, Cody James Core,Boot Barn Ranch. 2 new brands to launch Fall 2018! Roll out of Product Development process and development calendar. Continual education of process to new team members. Responsible for roll out of a QA/QC and product testing process, packaging and trademarking. Responsible for transitioning sourcing strategy from Domestic and Domestic Importers to direct factory relationships. Monitor and report on Private Brand penetration goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis to the Senior Management Team. Track growth goals by category. Monitor increases to IMU, GM and placements at cost to achieve aggressive growth targets.
Responsible for developing new business opportunities through financial analysis and reporting. Liaison with Planning, Merchant Finance and Holding Company Finance group. Implement, develop and manage all budgeting functions for the New York Design organization including composition of the 10K. Negotiate and manage all contract labor and office leases. Develop, manage and forecast all budgets for the organization. Member of the PLM implementation team. Worked with team members to roll out new technology and process to the Design, Merchant, Planning and Sourcing Organizations. • Develop cross functional relationships with the key stakeholders in Buying, Planning, Merchandising and Sourcing for Kmart and Sears and the Sears Overseas Sourcing Office to ensure understanding of the process needs and implementation of solutions across the global scope of the business. • Responsible for development of monthly Business Unit Board of Directors Meeting materials. Monthly participation and presentation of those materials. • Building of all business cases for the Design Team to support the $3 billion dollar private label business for SHC, including business analysis and viability studies for new businesses, classifications and categories. • Finance and Strategy analysis for the Design Group’s Shop Your Way e-commerce platform. Liaison for the NY and Israeli teams. • Develop and negotiate all IBA’s (Individual Business Agreements), for NY Design services. Create and administrate rate menu for service charge-outs to supported business units. • Create PLM reporting for all teams in the Private Brand pipeline. Roll-out and education of all teams participating in the new system. • Lead SHC brand externalization efforts, working with the design and sales teams to establish non-competitive Sears and Kmart branded apparel lines for sale to outside customers.
Responsible for managing, tracking, and evolving the global product merchandising cycle from inception to delivery. Implement the process and approach for Claire’s and Icing merchandise development and procurement beginning with inception, followed by initial kickoff, product development, placement meetings, post placement recaps, ongoing oversight and delivery. • Developed global cross functional relationships with the key stakeholders in Buying, Planning and Merchandising in both NA and EU for Claire’s, and Icing, plus the RSI overseas sourcing office to ensure understanding of the process needs and implementation of solutions across the global scope of the business. • Managed and maintained seasonal timelines that integrated key milestones across Trend, Design, Planning, Buying, Sourcing, and Marketing functions. Acted as key liaison with the emerging International team. Was main conduit for Senior Management for all Global Communication regarding calendars, meetings, process, commonality and RSI private label placements and penetration. • Worked with business partners to refine and create global templates that support the development process. • Tracked and reported on key development metrics and escalated risks to the Senior Management team. Monitor and maintain 70% corporate commonality penetration and 80% RSI placement penetration. • Developed sourcing strategies for top 100 vendors. Worked with RSI Team to create strategic alliances with top performing factories. Established parameters for vendor report cards. Sourced new factories in jewelry, hair, handbags and scarves/cold weather classifications. • Developed Global Best Seller process to track items from all divisions. Created format for all divisions to capitalize on successes. Developed Global Style number process for IT based reporting on Global styles. • Analyzed cost and process options in order to continuously evolve the development process and implement improvements.
