Responsible for the whole facility and catering management of Unilever Umraniyer U house and Konya Ice Cream and Personal Care factories: • General responsabilities: - Directs, supervises, and evaluates department staff; ensures staff receives training related to specific job tasks and responsibilities. - Directs, schedules, and oversees external contractors - Schedules and supervises maintenance workers engaged in building and grounds upkeep and repair; responsible for safety and security, electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and ventilation services - Develops and monitors department budget; orders equipment and supplies and monitors inventory; makes requests for capital outlay expenditures as needed. - Develops, implements, and supervises preventative maintenance and renovation programs for buildings, grounds, mechanical and electrical, utility, and safety and security systems - Ensures the proper disposal of hazardous and controlled wastes in compliance with regulations and guidelines; - Contributes to strategic planning by evaluating and projecting future facility needs and proposing options to achieve them - Implement and maintain robust Environmental Health & Safety Management programs. - Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver against measurable business goals • Capital Project and Finance - Prepare and deliver against budget and capital expenditure projections. - Deliver significant contribution to businesses P&L benefit by deploying prudent financial practice to optimize cost advantage in relation to: - Cash flow management - Cost management - Contract performance, supplier efficiency/productivity - Manage the design development and change management process with key business representatives - Work with regional teams (Finance, Legal, Sourcing) to manage projects and operations of facilities.

In conjunction with EMEA Real Estate & Facilities Management (RE&F), represent the Subsidiary on development and delivery of EMEA RE&F strategy for Microsoft. Aligned strategies with Finance and LCA departments, minimize the risk to the business and ensure compliance with all financial and legal requirements in the area of RE&F and Procurement. Ensure the employment of RE&F excellence in the organization and offices across all business groups within Turkey and MEA. • Finance : - Budget management to ensure all cost for the management of RE&F activities is within the RE&F controllable spend. - Timely reports and information • RE&F: - Implementation of multiple business operations in Turkey and HQ offices - Planning of the business needs and the industry for future development in line with strategic business objectives - Managing and leading change to ensure minimum disruption . • Facility Management : - Management of the facility outsourcing process with succesful vendor selection according to predefined service levels,standarts, schedule and budget parameters - Effective and improved understanding of business need for the strategic management. - Regular reports and information for a clear understanding and satisfaction of Microsoft. • Projects : - Move project of Istanbul office : 8,546 sqm free standing property(+9,000sqm closed car parking). The project start date was June 18th 2008 and the move date was October 25th of 2008 with a saving 1,008,360USD fo total approved budget. - Move project of Ankara office : 1,614 sqm of total office area + 1173 sqm of terrace on the 4th floor of the Cyberpark. The project completion was only 3 months, starting January 14th 2009 and the move date was April 9th of 2009 . • Management of RFBs : Catering services, Facility Outsourcing, security services • Member of global virtual team for the standardisation of facility process for the Global Vendor Model. • Awards : Quest for excellence - Golden Star RE&F award 2010
