About

I am a driven undergraduate student at York University pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, with an expected graduation in April 2029 and a strong interest in pursuing my CPA designation. My experience extends beyond the classroom, with hands-on exposure to bookkeeping, financial reporting, transaction reconciliation, and audit procedures. During my time as an Assistant Bookkeeper at Canada Cloud Services, I recorded and organized 50+ daily financial transactions, prepared general ledger and journal entries, and matched over 200 monthly receipts to maintain accurate, audit-ready financial records. Beyond accounting, I founded and currently lead Veloxity Clothing, where I oversee financial tracking, inventory management, marketing, and business operations. Building the business has allowed me to apply accounting principles in a real-world setting, manage inventory through a perpetual tracking system, and monitor profitability, maintaining gross profit margins between 56% and 63%. Through my professional experiences, I have developed a strong foundation in analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication. I am particularly interested in opportunities within accounting, audit, assurance, and financial analysis where I can contribute, learn from experienced professionals, and continue developing toward my CPA designation. I am always looking to connect with accounting professionals, industry mentors, and recruiters, and explore opportunities to contribute to a team as an accounting intern.
