About

Professor Dr Bibiana is the Head of Southampton Malaysia Business School at the University of Southampton Malaysia (UoSM). Previously, she worked as the Head of Learning and Teaching Unit and Associate Professor at Swinburne University of Technology, Sarawak Campus. She holds a PhD in Learning Sciences and a Master of Science from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), Malaysia, as well as a Bachelor of Business in Information Systems from Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. With over 20 years of experience in academia, she brings extensive expertise in tertiary education, curriculum development and digital learning. Research Interests Professor Bibiana is the Editorial Board Member of the International Journal of Entrepreneurship, Business and Creative Economy (IJEBCE) and a member of the Editorial Review Board for Journal of Marketing Advances and Practices (JMAAP). She is also a regular reviewer for peer-reviewed journals, such as the International Journal of Manpower, International Journal of Educational Management, Young Consumers, British Food Journal and Asian Journal of Business Research (AJBR). She is a member of the Marketing in Asia Group (MAG) Scholar and the Sarawak Research Society (SRS). Her papers are published in indexed journals, for example, the Asian Journal of University Education (AJUE), the British Food Journal, and the Malaysian Journal of Educational Technology, to name a few. She has successfully secured and managed several state and national-level research grants. Professor Bibiana’s research interests are within education technology, where she is particularly interested in multimedia features in content delivery, the application of mobile technology in education, and the use of social media in education. Besides, she is also interested in the research of organisational behaviour, green technology, CSR implications in organisations, leadership, and the general domain in management. She is familiar with quantitative, mixed-methods research methodology and experimental research design. Teaching Areas Undergraduate level: Introduction to Management; Organisational Behaviour; Strategic Planning in Dynamic Environments; Sustainable Organisational Design; International Human Resource Management; Introduction to Business Statistics, e-Business, Customer Relationship Management, final year capstone subjects and Work Integrated Learning (WIL). Postgraduate level (MBAi): Operations Management; Introduction to Business Information Systems, Technology Essential for Managers and Behaviour in Organisation.
