Hi and welcome to my profile! I’m a healthcare professional whose career evolved from hands-on patient care to data-driven clinical research. After over a decade as a Physical Therapist specialized in Oncology in Brazil, I embraced a new challenge when moving to Israel in 2016. This journey sparked my passion for learning and adaptability, leading me to transition into Clinical Data Management in 2019. Today I combine scientific insight with a commitment to improving healthcare through data.
Provide clinical expertise to ensure data quality and compliance in clinical trials. Responsibilities include reviewing protocols for data collection feasibility, ensuring clinical requirements and critical data points are accurately reflected in eCRFs and key data processes, defining and reviewing clinical data checks, and supporting MedDRA and WHODrug coding quality control activities. Act as the primary point of contact for clinical questions within the Data Management team and contribute to process improvements.
Led clinical data management activities across complex studies, ensuring data integrity and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities included overseeing study data review and validation, defining data checks and supporting CRF design. • Data information specialist, abstracting information from available medical records from patients diagnosed and treated for cancer in Israel. • Provide code for cancer site (topography) and histology (morphology) according to ICD-O-3, and also cancer stage according to the SEER Summary Staging Manual. • Responsible for compile clinical data, inputting cancer information into a tumor registry database system according to internationally coding standards.
• Responsible for abstract information from clinical records and department documents into database. • Provided recommendations about quality improvement by analyzing and interpreting department data through strategic management system, with direct reports to the directors. • Responsible for implementing quality processes and procedures according to regulations in order to receive ONA certification (like medical ISO certification) • Led the expansion of the team from 3 to 11 professionals. Responsible for the professional recruitment, providing continuous technical training, motivation for the team and conflict resolution. • Created and implemented projects as early mobilization program and palliative care assessment, based on patients needs to improve better care. • Responsible for coordinate the internship program activities of the institution into the pediatric oncology service, mentoring the team and the students. • Composed material and developed presentations for lectures about childhood cancer, teaching and representing the Service during internal and external events. • Research activities based on scientific data analysis and medical literature, presented papers in medical conferences, awarded in 2014. • Author of book chapters, writing content about childhood cancer for two institutional books (2016) and for a system of continuing education in Physical Therapy (2016).
