I am an experienced educator, having taught children from ages 5 to 11 years old, incorporating technology and hands on learning. In addition to teaching young children, I also have experience teaching adults Business English. Nurturing a love for learning and taking on a holistic approach to education are important factors for me. My passion as an educator drives me to me to continuously challenge myself and be the best I can be in order to have a more meaningful impact on my students. I am an avid sports lover and would absolutely love to work in the professional sports world. I have worked in a Cage Fighting organization as the Athletes Liaison Director and have extensive experience (mostly in field hockey) managing elite and international teams. I have also stood on multiple LOCs for events and sports events specifically. Through my involvement in sport, I also took up sports massage therapy and which I have practiced with ameture and professional international athletes. I have great interpersonal skills and am a very charismatic person. I have a strong work ethic and thrive when working in a team of like-minded people. Teaching English as a second language, in Israel, in low academic achieving communities. Curriculum development, small group pull-out teaching, co-teaching and full class teaching. Students aged 9-12 years old. In addition, teaching Business English in conjunction with the Ministry of Economy to non-native English speakers, attempting to break into high tech and the international business world.
Initially I started off in the matching team where I would try find a suitable candidate for a specific role. After a few months I was moved to a role where I would interview teachers and administrators to see if they were a good match for the company and if their skillsets were that that matched the company ethos, whereby we could continue to place them in schools around the UK.
- Classroom management as well as teaching register class (Including subjects such as Computers, Afrikaans, Music.) - Teaching online as well as physically in the classroom. - Weekly and termly planning. - Involvement in various extra-curricular activities, from Grade R through to Grade 7. - Master in Charge of Hockey – overseeing all coaching plans and sessions for the entire school, assisting with drafting of fixtures, supporting coaching and umpire training for other staff members, coaching and umpiring - Head of House – Supporting the Heads of Sports when arranging in-house school sports or cultural events, supporting with discipline, supporting with school spirit - Head of Charity – Coordinating with various charity organizations in order to raise funds and awareness for their cause, through the school.
