With over 30 years of experience in international relations, intercultural communication, and global affairs, I have a proven track record of fostering intercultural exchange and result-driven actions among global leaders of all backgrounds. I am also a member of the Board of Advisors at The Global CSR Foundation, where I contribute to the organization's mission of promoting corporate social responsibility and sustainable development. Additionally, I serve as the Global Talent Acquisitions and Outreach Ambassador at WoW | Women of Wonders | Women Founders Enablement Community, where I help empower and guide young women who seek to make a positive impact in the world. The mission of our foundation, "Language Access," is to make possible access to communication in any language, especially for people who do not know how to get language access. We also share resources and information to help expand and improve language assistance services for individuals with limited English proficiency. Although federal and state departments are trying to comply with federal law, language access as a service is not present nationwide.
Supporting students, alumni, and other professionals in linguistics building connections in order to shape the next generation of the translation, interpretation, and localization industries. Finding concrete goals to work together in order to publish something interesting together and empower them to be the best possible in their field and language pair. Working with mentees from the US, Brazil, Colombia, Puerto Rico, France and into different language-pairs as a project mentor.
