✪ Creator of Customer Journey Portal, a web service producing business insights and intelligence to understand user flow and intention across several Microsoft eco-systems (Bing, Office, Azure, and other customer systems). Originally a side project, the prototype quickly garnered the interest of senior leadership and formed the basis of a new team dedicated to this project. ✪ Designed a new Customer Insights engine based on Azure Application Insights Analytics (Kusto) for low latency, interactive exploration of Microsoft’s customer engagement data. ✪ Developer of “Power Pusher” tool that pushes data directly from Azure Data Lake to Power BI cloud without the need of an intermediate store. This tool was presented at the Microsoft Machine Learning, Analytics and Data Science Conference, Dec 2015.
✪ Designed and developed a client API to get authentication tokens for MSA partners during Windows 10 Out of Box Experience (OOBE). ✪ Successfully owned quality of TFA (Two Factor Authentication) feature across several form factors. Identified trends in product usage to enhance customer experience. Awarded the “MSA Customer Champ” for this initiative. ✪ Developed “Query builder” tool to aid users in writing Azure Data Lake queries, as part of team hack-a-thon.
✪ Developed EpicCare Cupid (Cardiovascular Information Systems) module of the Epic software. ✪ Developed support for Electrophysiology procedures, Information storage and retrieval of implant devices.
✪ Developed a novel algorithm to classify twitter messages (tweets) into generic categories such as news, opinions, deals, events, private messages. This technique outperformed the traditional "Bag-of-words" approach. Work published as a paper “Short text classification in Twitter to improve information filtering” at ACM SIGIR 2010, Switzerland.
✪ Informix software development for integration team. ✪ Responsible for the quality of various components of the OpenAdmin Tool like the Task Scheduler, Wizard, Automated Update Statistics and Enterprise Replication and developing automatic test cases.
