About

Most career advice assumes the playing field is level. It isn’t. And if you are a professional woman, especially one navigating multicultural environments, crossing industries, re-entering after a break, or building your own venture from a corporate foundation, you already know this. What you may not yet have is a precise name for the forces operating against you, and a strategy built specifically for the terrain you are actually navigating. That is the work I do. I am Dr. Betty Eziakor, founder of RISE with Betty™ — a cultural intelligence and career strategy practice for professional women preparing to make significant career transitions. My practice is built around one central idea: that the difficulty high-performing women experience in advancing their careers is not personal. It is structural. The invisible forces of gender, identity, culture, and systemic bias shape every career transition in ways that generic career advice does not account for. I call this the invisible anatomy of a career transition, and diagnosing it precisely is the first step in navigating it strategically. I work with five specific transition types: Industry Shift · Corporate to Entrepreneurship · The Global Professional · Re-entry · Strategic Repositioning Each has its own anatomy, its own cost structure, and its own strategic requirements. The RISE Method™ — Recognise, Interpret, Strategise, Elevate — is the diagnostic and strategic framework I apply to each one. Before founding RISE with Betty™, I spent over a decade in leadership roles across five industries — healthcare, logistics, medical devices, education, and publishing — and worked remotely and in person with multinationals based in Denmark, Germany, Israel, Nigeria, and the United States. I hold a PhD in Media and Communication, an MBA in Strategic Leadership, and a BSc in Medical Laboratory Science. This is not a theoretical practice. It is built on the research and the lived reality of navigating the same systems I now help others cross. → The RISE Strategy Session: A 60-minute diagnostic and strategy session. ₦100,000. risewithbetty.com
