The United Nationals Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) Corporate Guidebook Series provides corporations insight on how to design, implement, execute and measure strategies in support of sustainability and endeavoring to meet the UN SDG 2030 goals. While the goals were written for countries, the work at Sherpa Institute, a think tank, provides insight to guide corporations in improving their corporate social responsilbility and governance while making a positive and lasting inpact in support of the UNSDGs. Co-led global team researching and writing a Corporate Guidebook - UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8 for SHERPA Institute, focusing on corporate governance and social responsibility. Provided businesses with strategic insights to implement SDGs, benefiting both their long-term success and local communities. • Co-Team Lead / Co-Author for SHERPA Institute’s UN Sustainable Development Goals Corporate Guidebook (SDG) Series for SDG8. Promote sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all. Serve as a subject matter expert on SDG8. • Conducted research and developed guidance for corporations to implement the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) / ISO 26000 to promote international development and increase bottom lines.
Ensured compliance for a 3,500-strong US workforce across diverse sectors, maintaining compliance with policies and procedures for USD 3B revenue global business. Guided Vice Presidents, Directors, and Managers for employment related standard operating practices (SOPs), processes, policies, and procedures for GDLS U.S. persons with nine primary and 54 secondary United States based sites and in the United Kingdom, Europe, Middle East (Kuwait, Egypt, Saudi Arabia), and South-Central Asia (Afghanistan). • Played a pivotal role in the General Dynamics Staffing Working Group, managing vendor relationships and strategy at national STEM conferences: Managed a $1.6M annual budget for corporate participation and award nominations at industry events: and, as Vendor Management Joint Lead established a relationship with the data center manager of a nonoperational vendor, resulting in the continuation and/or transfer of business-critical application/data. • Managed outreach and recruitment vendors; increased partnerships. Responsible for full-cycle recruiting and mentored the Talent Management team, fostering innovative approaches to recruitment and networking. • Managed domestic and international contract labor vendor relationships with an average annual operating plan (operating budget / annual budget) of 100M USD and led a cross-functional team in source selection for new international contract labor vendors. • Collaborated with international, cross-functional teams to select and implement a new applicant tracking system and onboarding module, ensuring compliance with global regulations and language requirements.
