Jane Street is a global quantitative trading firm hiring smart, humble people who love to learn. We offer summer internship and full time opportunities in Quantitative Trading, Quantitative Research, Software Engineering, Business Development, Sales, Trading Desk Operations, Desktop Support, and the list is growing! I receive a large number of enquiries from students on LinkedIn and unfortunately I'm unable to respond to everyone, but with that in mind, wanted to compile some resources to help with most commonly asked questions. Please also note I'm unable to take any action with CVs that are sent to me on LinkedIn - all applications must be made through the Jane Street website. 1. What internships/full time roles are available? All our open roles are listed on our website. If a role doesn't show there, it's not currently accepting applications. Please note we usually open for internship applications late Summer of the prior year (e.g. late Summer 2022 for Summer 2023). 2. How can I prepare? Where to begin! Our website is an amazing resource - we have tabs dedicated to interviewing and a full info booth with tonnes of information - literally everything you need to prepare is on the website! 3. I am not a penultimate year student, how can I engage with Jane Street? We have around 13 programs designed for students at varying stages in their academic career, from high school students through to PhDs - check out "Our Programs" tab on the website. 4. Can you sponsor my society/Can you attend my campus? Please send these requests for European events to [email protected]. If you want to see what we are already doing on campus, check the "Events" tab. Also a big plug for our tech blog and Signals & Thread podcast! Even more info here on technical and recruiting topics - check it out! If you think you have a question that that list does not cover - feel free to inbox me!
