The daughter of two nurses and sister to a medically complex patient, Bethany Miller-Urroz understands firsthand how healthcare technology can either empower or overwhelm. That perspective has fueled nearly two decades of work across the US, Canada, and Europe, helping healthcare organizations adopt tools that genuinely support care teams and patients alike. Originally from the United Kingdom, Bethany has lived in the U.S. for over 15 years and now resides just south of Atlanta with her young daughter, PJ. She’s held leadership roles at companies including Nuance, Allscripts, symplr, and Rhapsody, where she led enterprise sales, built cross-functional teams, and guided large-scale implementations. Her work spans some of the most respected health systems in the world—including the NHS, AdventHealth, Ochsner, and Emory—as well as rural hospitals and safety-net clinics often left behind in digital transformation efforts. Over the course of her career, Bethany has generated more than $35 million in revenue, consistently ranked among top performers, and earned multiple President’s Club awards for sales excellence. She specializes in helping organizations navigate complex operational, technical, and cultural landscapes with empathy, clarity, and measurable outcomes, whether leading global go-to-market strategy or supporting frontline teams through change. A former national debate champion, Bethany brings a clear and compelling voice to every conversation about the future of healthcare. She’s passionate about smarter tech, better access, and more honest dialogue, especially in underserved communities. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, DIY home projects, and cooking. While she’s fully embraced “y’all” and perfected her biscuit recipe, she still hasn’t warmed up to grits.
