Bethany is a manager in KPMG's Internal Audit and Controls practice. She has five years of experience providing advisory services for clients across several industries, with a focus on manufacturing and oil & gas sectors. Bethany has served as the 'in charge' with responsibility for planning, execution, and delivery of internal audit and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) projects. She has helped clients assess compliance and identify and implement process improvement opportunities. Additionally, Bethany has developed an ER&C Program for a large entertainment company. Bethany strives to build meaningful relationships with both her teams and her clients and drive quality in the work they deliver. She also has a passion for developing others and is committed to campus recruiting efforts and mentoring others with the firm. It is such a rewarding experience for her to share her journey with students and new hires/interns and teach them how she got to where she is and about what she does in her career.
Call former students and update them about what is going at A&M and raise money for the Annual Fund. I have raised over $9,000 for the University since starting there and have greater built my communication skills.
Served wine to customers, answered their questions, and helped them at the register. I also helped with store upkeep and maintaining necessary supplies behind the bar and around the store. I gained customer service skills and how to better multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
