Working with the Post High School Transition Program students assisting them to learn the work world- work readiness skills, employer expectations, and skills to get to and from the work sites. I ensure the resources and connections are there beyond the Transition Program . I develop community businesses relations, seeking new work, checking in about current worksites, marketing of products, and other community resources that may be available to the students.
I coordinated a Youth Summer Work Program, worked with employers setting up community business work sites for all the programs' 10 years. I interviewed, hired the students, and staff for the program. Job Developed work experience job sites, coordinated tours, and volunteers in agency businesses. I served as the safety and sustainability rep for the department within the company. Supported individuals in community job sites to ensure job success.
