Analytical thinking, structured execution, and sustained leadership define my approach to problem-solving. I am a fourth-year BA Economics (Honours) student with a strong foundation in economic theory, quantitative methods, and research. I am particularly interested in applying analytical frameworks and data-driven approaches to understand complex systems and support decision-making in real-world contexts. Beyond academics, I have taken on leadership roles, most notably as Department Representative of the SDG Cell, where I led the transformation of an underactive student body into an organised and high-performing platform by building systems, strengthening outreach, and executing initiatives. I have gained practical exposure through internships at Cochin Shipyard Limited (Finance) and Süd-Chemie India, where I worked on financial processes, business operations, and cross-functional workflows. These experiences strengthened my ability to analyse data, understand organisational systems, and contribute to structured decision-making. As a Millennium Fellow (Class of 2024), I led the “Green School” initiative, driving sustainability awareness and behavioural change among school students. I also contribute to global student leadership through my role on the Global Admissions Committee. Across these experiences, I have developed a strong orientation towards consistency, ownership, and purposeful contribution, approaching responsibilities with a focus on long-term impact rather than isolated outcomes. I am keen to apply my skills in analytical and research-driven roles within dynamic, growth-oriented environments.
Selected for a global admissions committee to identify top undergraduate leaders for a competitive international fellowship. Evaluated applications from a pool of 60,000+ candidates, assessing project viability, leadership potential, and alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Collaborated with a global team to contribute to the selection of 4,000+ Fellows across 290+ campuses in 47 countries.
Served as Department Representative of the SDG Cell, leading the revival of an underactive student body into a structured and high-performing platform within the Department of Economics. Introduced structured planning systems, strengthened outreach, and established the association’s digital presence, significantly enhancing visibility and engagement. Led key sustainability initiatives, including awareness campaigns, guest lectures, and flagship events such as Sustainathon and Seeds for Sustainability. Reappointed for a second term based on performance, focusing on strengthening institutional processes, increasing event frequency, and aligning initiatives with NAAC accreditation parameters. Served as Lead Student Organiser for an ICSSR-sponsored national conference, managing coordination, stakeholder engagement, and operational execution.
Supported the end-to-end execution of the Round Table Conference on Sustainable Business Strategies, contributing to event coordination, logistics, and operational delivery.
Undertook a cross-functional internship at Süd-Chemie India Pvt. Ltd., gaining exposure to HR, Procurement, Finance, and Supply Chain operations within a manufacturing environment. Developed a skill matrix by analysing workforce data and conducting interviews with department heads to map competencies across plant operations. Supported recruitment and workforce planning through candidate screening, database management, and coordination processes. Gained exposure to procurement and financial workflows, including vendor evaluation and invoice validation. Analysed vendor selection strategies using economic concepts such as game theory and contract theory to evaluate pricing and supplier decisions. Collaborated across departments to understand end-to-end industrial operations and organisational processes.
Progressed from a volunteer to an Organising Committee Member within ECONTAGO, contributing to the execution of major academic and co-curricular initiatives. Supported planning, coordination, and on-ground execution for flagship events, including Arthotsav and 1776 Syndrome, while also developing content for the Financial Literacy Drive. Selected for the Scoring Committee of an intercollegiate fest, entrusted with ensuring fair evaluation and structured assessment processes.
