•Research and development of new materials: preparation and study of multifunctional molecular magnetic materials. •Organic syntheses of coordination ligands to form metal clusters. •Inorganic syntheses of metal complexes using different methods as one-pot, hydrothermal, solvothermal and microwave conditions. •Single crystals crystallization of the metallic clusters using different crystallization methods such as slow evaporation, layering or vapour diffusion. •Characterization of both organic and inorganic compounds using techniques as: - NMR spectroscopy - IR spectroscopy - Mass spectrometry - UV-Vis luminescence spectroscopy - Single crystal X-Ray diffraction - Powder X-Ray diffraction - Elemental analysis - Magnetic susceptibility measurements •Crystal structure refinement using different crystallographic softwares as WinGX or Shelxle that use the Shelxl program. •Fitting magnetic data. •Data analysis.
