Due to a move from Seattle to KCMO to support family needs, I stepped away from work for a while and focus on those needs. I am now ready to find a new and exciting next adventure in the Kansas City area or as a remote work-force staff member.
Optimization of cloud-based SaaS platform through automation, resulting in simplified and streamlined operations. Strategic architecture guidance for evolution of global SaaS and on-premise solutions. Tactical responsibilities include AWS cloud infrastructure deployment, monitoring and health inspection automation, upgrade / release planning. Strong exposure to Amazon EC2, S3, Python, PowerShell, Bash.
Responsibilities include enterprise architecture, design, implementation, integration, consultation and project management concerning the deployment of various Service Management solutions into customer environments, Strong software exposure to BMC Discovery (ADDM), BMC Remedy Atrium CMDB, BMC BPPM (TrueSight), Perl automation scripting. Historical exposure also includes: Apptio, ServiceNow, HP Operations Manager, Atrium Integrator and a variety of other automation/orchestration solutions. Also conduct strategic technology assessments and involvement with ITSM process definitions.
Initially responsibe for all UNIX-based infrastructure monitoring in thye Sprint PCS IT environment (prior to formal merger with Sprint). Eventually transitioned into the manager of said team, covering all Windows, Unix, and Network monitoring tools for Sprint PCS IT. Also managed two other teams, one which dealt with overall coordination of projects requiring IT Data Center service; the other team dealing with analysis and planning for new technologies or processes being consider for IT Data Center operations.
