Manufacturing and process engineering leader with over 40 years of experience across welding, aerospace, energy, and additive manufacturing. Work has focused on stabilizing processes, improving performance, and solving complex production challenges in real-world operating environments. Career began with AMADA Weld Tech and GE Lighting. At AMADA, I conducted welding feasibility research to support an international sales force, defining process approaches across a wide range of materials and applications. At GE, I supported welding processes in high-speed automated production, with increasing involvement in resolving process variation, dissimilar-metal joining challenges, and underperforming production lines. Efforts focused on identifying root causes, implementing effective controls, and restoring stable, repeatable output. Experience expanded into aerospace, energy, composites, and environmental remediation. Developed manufacturing systems and SOPs for applications such as F-35 fire-suppression components, turbine-blade shot peening, and wind-turbine blade repair. Across all applications, the focus remains consistent—building processes that are reliable, repeatable, and executable on the production floor. Recent work includes additive manufacturing in the foundry industry, with a focus on printed sand cores and molds. Emphasis is placed on process control, supplier quality, dimensional stability, breakage reduction, traceability, and environmental controls to support scalable production. Contributor to technical publications on resistance welding and process development, recognized for innovation and technical contributions. The approach is grounded in practical execution: identify true failure points, implement measurable controls, train teams effectively, and build processes that perform consistently day in and day out.
