At age 14 Bernard is already selling mixtapes in highschool. His grandmother has a little grocery store near Ghent and that is probably where he fell into the entrepreneurial hutsepot when he was little. Today Bernard leads a number of strategic consultancy missions and is active with //gaggarin// - a gallery and pop-up space in the Brussels Canal Zone. After a blitz start at Unilever and Kellogg’s, he moves into brand activation at octagon cis / Golazo under the wings of Bob Verbeeck where he builds experience on international projects for Nike, Unilever brands, Hyundai and MasterCard. In 2004 he moves to Paris to successfully head up a dedicated NBA client division, resulting in a dramatical growth of the activities developed. After a 7 months and 7 days sabbatical exploring Asia and Australia he starts up a new venture in music managing artists as Ozark Henry and setting up corporate and public concerts in Europe and the US. In 2009 he starts up the brand activation agency Square Melon for private equity GIMV. Once the company is up and running he leaves to pursue his passion for art and culture and opens an art gallery in the Kanal zone of Brussels. In 2013 Bernard kicks off the communication agency indiandribble. The startup results in a number of spin offs. The biggest one is a family festival named Wonderweekend that entertains about 5,000 visitors yearly.
