I am a highly accomplished Senior Director of Manufacturing, having worked in both the Semiconductor industry and also the Food Manufacturing industry for over 20 years. I have a deep background in Supply Chain, HACCP, TPM, Lean Six Sigma, SAP, Integrated Supply Chain and Implementation of new technologies and equipment. I am a highly experienced and skilled manager of people both at the hourly level and the senior plant leadership salaried ranks in both unionized and non-unionized organizations,. I truly believe that great results are delivered through great leaders of great teams. Responsible for overall site leadership of this 24 X 7 manufacturing plant with over 700 employees on the largest manufacturing footprint in the Mondelez Canada network. With full PLT (plant leadership team) reporting directly to the Plant Director, operating with a Safety first mindset at all times, as the plant delivers current demand, whilst driving performance improvements to be ready to deliver growth ambition volumes into the future. Through demonstrated Servant Leadership we will develop this plant to become a world class manufacturing facility, building each department to be best in class through 100% engagement of our people and a zero Loss mind set, operating in a High Performance Work System (HPWS)
Now responsible for the Management of Production Operations, Safety performance, Quality Department, Shipping and Receiving, Maintenance Department and the Continuous Improvement/Focused Improvement Department. Leading the Plant to become a World Class Manufacturer driving each department to be Best in Class through 100% engagement of our People and a Zero Loss mind set, Operating in a High Performance Work System is the vision for our future.
Responsible for all aspects of Production while ensuring the Safety of up to 300 employees (Peak season) and delivering excellence in Quality performance. We have successfully delivered Best In class delivery of Product to the business and also over delivered on our aggressive productivity goals for 2015. In April I assumed the full Role of Plant manager(Interim) to accommodate the PM's temporary assignment to support a struggling US plant. During this time we had record breaking Safety, Quality, delivery and Productivity results while successfully passing a Phase Audit of our Integrated Lean Six sigma(TPM) initiative.
Manage 4 Salaried Production Supervisors. Manage 40% of Plant volume production. Manage up to 100 hourly employees accross 4 continental shifts. Manage CI projects and Blackbelts to achieve and exceed productvity goals each year. Manage certification of Salaried Lean Six Sigma Green Belts. Managing my department and the Pilot production line through major Cultural change in the organisation.
