Hello, I'm Berkay Yondemli. Born and raised in Ankara, Turkey's capital, my life took an unexpected turn when I ventured abroad to Prague for a student exchange program in my third year of university. What was initially unplanned became a life-altering experience. Inspired by my time in Prague, I chose to pursue a master's degree in Economics and Management while simultaneously embarking on my professional journey with SAP. Starting as a part-time student in the Procurement team, my proactive nature and willingness to dive into challenging tasks propelled me through the ranks to various senior business leadership roles. With over 13 years of experience in the software business, I've worn multiple hats—from process and project management to customer success, with a specialization in the procurement domain. My diverse roles, spanning internal back-office functions to customer-facing responsibilities, have given me a robust understanding of large enterprise operations. At my core, I'm a lifelong learner who finds fulfillment in empowering others. As a Customer Engagement Executive (CEE) I have the overall responsibility for the daily management of assigned Cloud customer accounts, including account management strategies as well as engagement and expansion plans to ensure profitable growth within these customers. The focus of my position is twofold, to maximize the value that customers and SAP receive through adoption and use of the Network and to ensure that the customers deploy and use of all of their entitled subscription software. As a CEE I serve as the primary point of contact for the customer and maintain customer satisfaction through issue mitigation and escalation management. I am responsible for retention of the revenue associated with customers within their portfolio, effective positioning of the specific Line of Business value proposition in order to leverage adoption of our solutions and services necessary to support the customer. My role is both inside and field based.
