I'm a dedicated Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer with a cognitive science background, driven by a passion to make a difference in the world of artificial intelligence. I thrive in challenging situations, using my curiosity, adaptability and resilience to failure to deliver outstanding results. As a Lead Data Scientist in the talented Spark team at ADP, I am providing data driven solutions across diverse business domains. My work includes developing, enhancing and maintaining generative AI data pipelines, and driving innovation for our products. My work is fueled by my passion for innovation and my desire to develop cutting-edge solutions that will add true value. Simultaneously, I am working on developing multiple side projects both for my own use, entertainment and education as well as for various NGOs and social initiatives to the benefit of all. My PhD research at the Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Research Group at Universitat Pompeu Fabra focused on reinforcement learning algorithms, and more specifically on improving spatial and temporal information encoding and retrieval. I also investigated the role of agency and attentional mechanisms as well as exploring the dynamics of multi-agent learning. I envision a world full of autonomous artificial agents that can anticipate our every need, so we don't have to but I would settle for a working theory of Asimov's psychohistory.
