Villach, Carinthia, Austria
"How would nature ...?" This is my mantra, my inspiration. I use biomimetics and biomimicry as a tool to generate a continous flow of solutions to solve specific problems.
A funding allows me and my partners to follow our vision of a biomimetics institute in Villach/Austria. I am supported by a funding of the KWF (Kärntner Wirtschaftsförderungsfonds) and part of the start up accelerator by build! Gründerzentrum.
Secretary-Deputy for the bionikum:austria association
Since 01.01.2018 reduced to mini job level to follow my funding for an entrepreneurship. Consumer Testing Services - laboratory management - customer care and communication - spread resistance profiling - microscopy - manual grinding and polishing - additional projects: research for biomimetic products for or out of semiconductor industries
1 week guest lecturer for the course: "Biomimetics in Engineering" See my reports on Blogionik.org http://www.blogionik.org/ipw-2016-1/ http://www.blogionik.org/international-project-week-2017/
Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) Filtration Device for Point-of-Care-Testing Applications - Design, Modelling and Fabrication Development of a small volume blood separation device from sketch! The ideas based on thin shells and the lithographic manipulation of it. Several biomimetic concepts are included during the research and development of the prototype. - Hexagonal structures for stability - Self-similarity for an easy scaling and calculation of the surface structure - Thin shells as modificational substitute for a double lipid bilayer membrane
Internship: Caretaker for MEMS microphone and tire-pressure fabrication, in Line
