The company was established in 1998 and developed 10 successful internet platforms which are active in the Netherlands and Germany. One of the main objectives for the coming years is to continue expansion abroad and to launch new verticals in other complex markets. As founder of the Bencom Group, a market leader in comparison websites, I have witnessed the dramatic changes in a number of markets since I started in 1998 at the age of thirteen. Not only the way we do business, but also how entire business models have shifted in a relatively short amount of time. The enormous amount of information on the internet creates both opportunities and challenges and one of these is the ability to present information, about prices for example, in such a way that we can help consumers save on their expenditures and make markets more transparent at the same time.
