I joined Caribou as employee number 4. -Designed and set up all people policies, processes, systems and procedures from scratch including compensation & benefits, payroll, equity plan, contract terms, performance & talent reviews, onboarding and hiring. -Hired a very specialised team, quadrupling the size of the company in 12 months. Impactful hires included transfer pricing experts, technical sales, product designers and software developers in extremely hard-to-fill niche roles. -Built credibility as a trusted business partner and sounding board for the CEO and key business leaders. Co-created organisational design and hiring priorities to meet growth targets and actively participated in series A investment plans.

I joined Sylvera on a 6 month contract to help with their high-volume GTM global hiring and revamp processes to work at scale. -Hired a highly specialised, international team across the UK, Belgium and US, including Senior New York–based Account Executives, a niche EU Carbon Sustainability Policy Lead, a People Partner and a Content Manager. -Built and scaled US hiring practices from the UK, including navigating complex international offers via an Employer of Record to enable compliant hiring in Belgium. -Remapped hiring and workflow processes across Go-To-Market teams and led talent planning for Sales and Marketing, clarifying roles, improving handoffs and prioritising key hires.

I joined as the 3rd member of the talent team, solely responsible for talent within marketing, growth, business and operations. -Partnered directly with the CEO to deliver a Director of Growth hire within the first month. -Conducted a full team audit and overhauled hiring processes, including ATS clean-up, automation, templates, job description revamp and creation of a candidate pack. -Delivered international hiring across the UK, Czech Republic, US and Australia, achieving recruitment cost savings of £400k.

I joined the team as the 4th employee, with the aim of building out the talent & people functions and strategy. -Partnered with CEOs to define hiring plans and growth strategy, scaling the business from 4 to 90+ employees across the UK, Czech Republic, US and Australia, largely as a standalone function. -Built the people and talent infrastructure from scratch, including implementing ATS (Workable) and HR systems (HiBob), and introducing structured onboarding, probation and performance review processes. -Set up consistent, scalable hiring processes across all departments, while maintaining a high hiring bar under significant pressure to grow quickly with limited support. -Managed and developed a global team of three talent partners, delivered £800k+ in recruitment cost savings, and handled KPI reporting, visa sponsorship setup and wellbeing initiatives.
