About

My colleagues know me in the workplace as a driven and punctual person with an eye for detail. For this reason, I was appointed as QA manager within the company to help develop the quality system (ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025) and support colleagues to continuously improve the quality of our company. Since one of the core tasks of our company is to provide welding advice to companies, I took the welding engineer course. For more than 10 years, I have been active as an expert in welding standards on ISO level (ISO TC44) to help with the development of welding standards. I use the knowledge I acquire in this way to: - help companies to interpret and implement welding standards - provide training in internationally recognised courses (IIW) - organise workshops Since I also like to be practical, I regularly carry out non-destructive testing of welds within the company. These examinations include visual testing, dye penetrant testing and magnetic particle testing. In order to carry out these examinations in a professional manner, I have obtained the necessary certificates (Level 2 ISO 9712). I can use the practical knowledge I acquired as a teacher in the training courses run by our company. Teaching people as a teacher gives me great satisfaction. In my spare time, I like to do lots of DIY projects. Some examples: - full home automation installation - making of tailor-made cupboards - making of loudspeaker cabinets - plumbing work - pond construction ......... It gives me great satisfaction to do this myself.
