- Was the lead advisor for the Senator’s Agriculture, Nutrition, Energy, Natural Resources, Environment, Public Works, and Emergency Management portfolio. - Worked with the Legislative Director to manage the Senator’s policy priorities inside my portfolio throughout the drafting, introduction, and committee process across both Chambers of Congress and the administration. - Worked with the Legislative Director to advise the Senator through numerous nomination and legislative votes in one of the most productive years in modern Senate history, 3 FY26 appropriations titles, 5 major federal disaster declarations, a FEMA PPDR mission assignment, 3 titles of the Working Families Tax Cuts Act, and countless national and Missouri issues inside my portfolio. - Traveled across the state of Missouri visiting stakeholders’ on-site locations, discussing how the Senator’s priorities align with their industry and obtaining hands-on experience of industries inside my portfolio.
