Mayflower Shopping Center (Mpumalanga Province) Mpuluzi Area Benji Mpogo Bapela has applied for state land in Mayflower (Mpuluzi) near the Oshoek border of Swaziland along the N17, to develop a new shopping center. The state land was approved by the minister of Rural Development and Land reform on the 1st March 2011 for the Government of the Republic of South Africa to enter into a 49 year lease with Thaba Consulting Engineers cc. 1. Lease Agreement signed on Wednesday, 07/03/2012 2. Dijalo Property Management - Funding partner 3. Mayflower Shopping Mall Pty Ltd registered and owns the centre 4. Africa @ Work - Property Facilitation 5. Anchor Tenants - Shoprite, Jetmart, Cashbuild, Banks, etc A 14000m2 center has been designed by Benji Bapela and together with a funder, they managed to raise R119m for the development. RATLOU LOCAL MUNICIPALITY in NW Province near Delareyville, has appointed Thaba Consulting Engineers on Monday, 28/05/2012 to apply for funding and design SETLAGOLE COMMERCIAL HUB. SLA has been signed and processes have started. Setlagole is another rural shopping centre that will be designed, project managed and owned by Benji Bapela the CEO of Thaba Consulting Engineers and technical studies have commenced. "This is our 2nd rural mall and we'll make it happen like mayflower which has given us vast experience in developing rural shopping centers".
