I wrote and edited web copy, white papers, test questions, educational modules, public-health materials, and video scripts for a number of clients in Austin and elsewhere, including Proving Ground, Sherry Matthews Advocacy Marketing, and Butler Bros.
As deputy editor of the books section, I edited articles by writers including Christopher Hitchens, Caitlin Flanagan, Mona Simpson, Thomas Mallon, Michael Hirschorn, and many others. I also helped formulate and oversee the magazine's editorial copyflow system, reviewed manuscripts for publication, proofread every issue in its entirety, managed budgets, assisted with publicity and various other managerial/administrative tasks.
