I love to disrupt the status quo, I joined Covad Communications in 1998 to modernize how consumers and business connect to the internet and retire the dial-up modem once and for all. Focusing on APIs for order entry and management and automating end-to-end provisioning, we grew to 650,000 subscribers and went public with a $15B market cap. I then co-founded Veritix in 2005 with a focus on replacing paper tickets to sporting events and concerts with trackable digital access rights. In addition to providing teams and bands with increased control over how tickets were sold and used, we also captured over 15x the leads for future marketing by tracing how the tickets changed hands. While I enjoy building innovative products and growing companies, I also get excited seeing how my ideas are adapted by competitors and knowing I've permanently changed the industry.
