Responsible for the delivery, performance, continuous improvement and strategic evolution of global business services across Lonza. Overseeing a global organization spanning Manchester (UK), San José (Costa Rica), Hyderabad (India), Nansha (China), Basel and Visp (Switzerland) ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality, scalable and cost-effective services to the business.

- Head of Global Process Owner (GPO) and project management organization covering Order to Cash (O2C), Source to Pay (S2P) and Record to Report (R2R) (~30 project and operational excellence experts) - Harmonization, automation and continuous improvement initiatives realized ~40% efficiency gains (~16M CHF per annum) across the GBSO budget (~35M CHF) by cost reduction and cost avoidance over 4 years
- Responsible for Financial Transformation and Integration portfolio - Established Global Project portfolio oversight and governance - Revamped migration methodology to eliminate travel (Covid) - Management Capsugel finance integration (~40 FTE across 9 sites) and overseeing GBS carve-out of Speciality Chemicals (~1.7B CHF turnover)
- Established greenfield site in San Jose (approx. 50 headcount - Expanded global PM team for other EMEA/Americas migrations (~9 PMs) - Refined Lonza Services Migration methodology reducing service transition time by 30% while enhancing quality (reduced hypercare)
- Established greenfield site in Manchester (approx. 75 headcount) - Led successful pilot migrations for UK and CH markets (~45 FTE) - Created Lonza Migration methodology and embedded into Cloud solution tool (Teamwork). - Created and headed team of 5 Migration Managers, each responsible for migration projects of remaining EMEA sites
- Global project controller role for the 3 strategic projects within Lonza - Created site financial reporting (Manufacturing, Supporting and Global), business pipeline reporting (Specialty Chemicals) and cost tracking global administrative costs - Analyzed end-to-end value creation of assets for “Anchor” projects and identified improvement initiatives (62M CHF gross profit improvement)
