Baxano has developed a minimally invasive set of flexible surgical instruments to target lumbar spinal stenosis during spinal decompression procedures. Acquired by TranS1 in 2013. Arthrocare has developed a number of surgical devices, instruments and implants, often times based on their RF Coblation based technology. Responsible for managing R&D groups in Spine and ENT (Ear/Nose/Throat) Accomplishments: -Launched Pediatric Turbinate Wand and UPPP Wand within first two months of taking over ENT division. -Led design and development of Parallax Contour (vertebroplasty device) from concept to launch in 13 months. -Brought first RF Coblation device for soft tissue removal of metastatic disease in the long bones.
