Benjamin J. Harder, M.S., CCC-SLP is a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with over 11 years of clinical and educational experience supporting children and adolescents with a wide range of communication needs. Specializing in autism spectrum disorder, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and parent coaching, he is passionate about helping individuals build meaningful, functional communication skills across home, school, and community settings. With experience in both school-based and clinical environments, he has provided assessment, intervention, and collaborative support for students with complex communication profiles, including expressive/receptive language disorders, social communication differences, and sensory-based communication needs. His clinical approach emphasizes neurodiversity-affirming practices, individualized supports, and evidence-based intervention strategies tailored to each client’s strengths and goals. Benjamin has extensive experience implementing and supporting AAC systems, including low-tech and high-tech communication devices, while coaching families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to foster carryover and communication success in everyday environments. He strongly values family-centered care and believe parent coaching and collaboration are essential components of effective intervention. In addition to direct therapy services, he is committed to ongoing professional development in autism, AAC implementation, social communication, and inclusive practices. Provided diagnostic and speech therapy intervention for preschool and elementary children in classroom and pull out settings who meet Nebraska Department of Education Rule 51 verification criteria in the area of autism, developmental delay, hearing impairment, intellectual disability, fluency, voice, articulation, language, and other health impairment.
