Benjamin Chen-Han Loh is an Associate Professor with the Human Resource Management programme at the S R Nathan School of Human Development, SUSS. His expertise in Strategic Human Capital Governance, Workforce Planning, and Strategic Foresight was forged in the engine room of diplomacy and regional policy. While leading the ASCC Analysis and Monitoring Directorate at the ASEAN Secretariat, he played a key role in facilitating the complex negotiations and decision-making processes among Member States across the socio-cultural pillar, spanning labour affairs, education, and sustainable development. In this capacity, he managed the technical formulation of high-level strategic frameworks and monitoring systems designed to track and respond to social-economic shifts across Southeast Asia. At SUSS, he translates these regional insights into applied learning and workforce strategies for the industry. He holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge and is committed to bridging the gap between rigorous strategic analysis and actionable human capital solutions.
