Change management and leadership in global integration including performance management process i.e. synergy tracking and measurement. Developing operational and competitive insights based on internal performance analysis and benchmarking with peers. Drive mindset change in corporate functions in light of new corporate strategies and performance focus areas.
Coordination of global performance improvement program including monitoring and follow-up on performance initiatives. Responsible for head office operations including Procurement, Health & Safety and Facility Management including reorganization of provided services / outsourcing and establishment of a corporate Procurement organization and processes.
Integration of aggregates, concrete and concrete products business in Holcim Group environment. Deep-dive strategy analysis and development of growth plan for different business segments including investment pipeline. Follow-up on preparation, approval and execution of investment pipeline.
Financial assessment of large acquisitions and business combinations including financial planning of target organization and impact on Group indicators. Discussion of financial assessments and scenarios with senior management and BoD members. Leading role in execution of transactions including contract / price negotiations and due diligence. In-depth liquidity planning during financial crisis to safeguard operational flexibility and sustain investment grade rating. Discussion with rating agencies on financial projections, strategic plans and specific financing measures.
Performance reporting to senior management and BoD. Establish process to monitor operational roadmap implementation across the group. Support in integration of new group companies in financial reporting process (i.e. China).
Project manager on M&A and capital market transactions including stock listings (IPO) at SWX Swiss Stock Exchange. Business planning and incubation advisory for start-ups including start-up financing.
