Working on the team that maintains and improves upon NRDB, New Relics's custom distributed timeseries database. I focus on building out the core platform of NRDB, ranging from low level details like file format optimizations, to high-level system re-architectures to increase performance and resilience.
Developed and maintained internal tooling / data processing jobs used by the business for handling mortgages. My primary focus was improving upon and simplifying existing systems.
Automated the process used to verify a successful application deployment using .NET and the CodedUI framework Developed and refactored tests for a legacy application in .NET
Worked on the Supply Chain software development team. Developed a Java application using the Spring framework to aid in a major database migration. The application saved a team of ten, three weeks of time for each of the databases that needed to be copied Developed a web application and multiple tools for distribution center workers to use that significantly cut ticket requests. Used Angular 2 for the frontend and Java with Spring Boot for the backend.
