I am a hands-on business developer who speaks and writes fluently 4 languages. My mother tongue is Dutch but I also speak French, English and German. To give you a short insight of my recent past I can tell you that I was the CEO of Step4Media NV - LLC for 10 years from January 2006 until December 2015. As a marketeer one of my strengths is bringing a product to market, determine the ‘go-to-market’ moment in the product life cycle, generating new business and fix retail pricing based on the cost of goods and calculations in a P&L. I am familiar with the challenges to run a start-up and managing a company from A to Z. Step4Media NV was one of my own companies with which I attracted clients such as Coca-Cola Company, Coca-Cola Enterprises Belux and the Netherlands, Walibi, Bobbejaanland, Délifrance, Autogrill (Zaventem Airport), Makro, Total France and many more. Through our office in the US we had clients in America and via our UK partner we had offices in the Middle East and England. I was also able to attract venture capital through BAN-Vlaanderen, the AAA-fund and the government participation fund. I know how to preside board meetings and shareholders assemblies. I am a go-getter and I am used to travel a lot and being away from home for business.
As a self-employed manager, through my management company Xcalibur Consult, I held several management positions in various companies as well as my own exploitation company Step4Media NV. As a business developer my strengths mainly are in the commercial aspect of doing business. As the CEO of Step4Media NV - LLC, a position I held for 10 years, I attracted venture capital to grow the business and the company signed on mayor clients such as Coca-Cola Company, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Total, Walibi, Délifrance, Autogrill, Makro, Bobbejaanland and many more. I am used to doing business on an international level and generally managing a company from A to Z.
