In this role, I provide engineering support to marine projects across the Middle East, particularly relating to the design and construction of marinas, breakwaters and revetments.
Involved with a wide range of river and coastal schemes in both technical design and project management roles.
In this role I supervised the dredging & reclamation works and the breakwater construction for Eko Atlantic. The project will ultimately create a new city on land reclaimed from the Atlantic Ocean. The 10km² of land will be occupied by luxury commercial & residential properties and high-end infrastructure. My role was to ensure the construction of the seawall and land reclamation works adhere to international standards and meet the design under FIDIC contract requirements. My responsibilities included: • Coordinating a small team of construction supervisors • Monitoring the casting and placement of Accropode units • Checking rock quality and liaising with quarry managers • Monitoring the construction of an 8.4km concrete wave wall • Providing advice to the client on coastal issues.
