My responsibilities include the constant improvement of operations across all species (beef, lamb and venison). Ensuring the highest standards and consistency are upheld across the group.
In this role I am responsible for overseeing production across nine beef processing rooms throughout New Zealand. My main tasks are to ensure quality standards, yields and beef specifications are adhered to in all of these plants, with a wider view to health and safety and compliance.
In this role, I managed the boning room for Silver Fern Farms Hawera plant. During this time, I developed supervisory and management skills that have served me well for my career progression to my current role.
