I am an admitted advocate of the High Court of South Africa (having joined the Pretoria Society of Advocates in 2020). From 2016 to 2018, I was an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa. I have completed and obtained the following degrees, namely a Bachelors of Law (LLB) (University of Pretoria) (cum laude), a Masters of Law (LLM) (Private Law) (University of Pretoria) (cum laude) and Masters of Law (LLM) (International and European Law) (University of Tilburg, Kingdom of the Netherlands) (cum laude). I have also obtained a post graduate diploma in tax law at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2019.
Corporate and Commercial Law Department Duties include: Drafting legal opinions on a variety of corporate and commercial issues; reviewing, drafting and negotiating transaction agreements; drafting and assisting in the drafting of legal due diligence reports; drafting exchange control applications; drafting submissions to the Take-Over Regulation Panel and the JSE.
Lecturing criminal law to final year students. Duties included: preparing and presenting formal lectures for both Afrikaans and English classes, adhering to consultation hours and marking of tests and examinations.
Assisting senior staff with research, preparing and presenting tutor classes, adhering to consultation hours and marking of tests and examinations of both English and Afrikaans students. Included presentations to private and public institutions on various topics of public law.
