There's a version of running that's about times and tactics and squeezing every second out of your body. I did that for years as a D1 athlete. Then I graduated into something better: running just because I like it. That shift unlocked something. When you stop performing for external metrics, you start noticing what you actually want. The student-athlete life teaches you to treat your body like a system: inputs, outputs, recovery, performance. That obsession never left. It just evolved into a fascination with health and wellness optimization. I study Management Science & Engineering at Stanford because I'm drawn to the intersection of finance and technology, the messy, fast-moving space where inflection happens. I'm fascinated by energizer bunnies: the people and ideas that refuse to slow down, no matter what.
