What started in 2012 with an internship developed into an exciting time that made me experience the Berlin Startup E-Commerce world. Starting with less than 10 colleagues and growing to over 120 is an experience I don’t want to miss. I had the chance to develop with the company and became Head of Operations in 2017. Over the years – after the expansion into more than 10 European markets – I was able to get an expert in Supply Chain Management and Process optimization. After working with complex systems (Shop, ERP and PIM) at Geschenkidee, it was easy for me to acquire a decent technical understanding of these and its APIs, to be able to react quickly and find proper solutions together with the different departments. I like working with Data and love to make excel work for me. With the analytical insights and always seeing the big picture, I like to drive strategic projects while involving all stakeholders. However, over the strategic piece I prefer to bring the business forward with my team considering all operative aspects. From day-to-day business, over logistics, to customer satisfaction.
Part of the Finance Team reporting into the CFO as an interface function between Operations and Finance • Strategic consulting for operational decision making with suppliers/partners • Creating automized internal and external reportings (departments/investors) • Cash- and P&L forecasting • KPI monitoring and identification of cost drivers • Increase in cost efficiency, especially for COGS
Leading the Operations Team with up to 8 EE and 5 direct reports in the areas: • Supply-Chain-Management • Product/Category Management • Customer Service • Event/Sales
• Managerial responsibility in the area Supply-Chain Management • Data analysis, interpretation of the results and giving recommendations for action in consultation with the management • Selection and optimization of the terms of payment providers • Control and monitoring of complex data transfers and interfaces between shop, PIM-System and ERP • Process optimization through implementation of concepts in Excel templates (partly VBA) • Co-responsibility in the internationalization and expansion into 9 other European countries
• Responsible for day-to-day business and interface role between internal departments and fulfilment service provider • Development of a calculation template for order quantities • Planning order quantities with an annual purchase volume of up to 5 Mio. Euro • Carrying out the whole ordering process: sending out the order, confirmation, documentation of the goods receipt and invoice reconciliation • Contact for suppliers, conducting price negotiations and organizing annual supplier talks • Creation of an invoice template for the generation of the (inter-)national invoices for experience partners • Contact person for employees and tax consultants for financial topics in terms of daily business
