I help investors, family-business owners and CEOs stress-test their highest-stakes decisions — capital deployment, acquisitions, succession, exits and settlements — before they commit. For 25+ years I've worked where decisions become irreversible: challenging the logic, surfacing the human and political risks the numbers miss, and testing whether the people can actually carry the decision. Most major failures don't come from the numbers. They come from people, power, behaviour, trust, governance and blind spots — the human factors conventional advisers, lawyers and bankers aren't positioned to test, partly because they're paid on the outcome. I'm independent: not on your payroll, not in the family, not selling you the deal. The usual starting point is a confidential Decision Stress Test — a bounded assessment of a specific decision, examining the logic, the people and the politics before you commit. You come away with a clear, defensible go / adjust / pause / no-go view and a concise Decision Brief for your board or co-investors.
