Conduct personal, academic, and career counseling to the students in the Project Promise Program at Sandhills Community College. Project Promise (TRIO Grant Program) at Sandhills Community College, focuses on assisting students who are first generation college and/or have other difficult obstacles creating a disadvantage to meeting educational goals.
Monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being and reporting to medical staff; Observe and influence patients' behavior through therapeutic interactions/interventions; Collaborate with and assist doctors, psychologists, and other therapists in working with mentally ill and emotionally disturbed patient for acute care treatment; Restrain violent, potentially violent, and suicidal patients by verbal or physical means as required; Developed and lead group therapy sessions related in life skills, play therapy, CBT, and DBT; Interview new patients to complete admission forms, to assess their mental health status, and to obtain their mental health and treatment history;Trained other staff for Mandt Skills Certification
