Porto, Porto, Portugal
I am a Software Engineer with an MSc degree from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto. Throughout the last few years I had the opportunity to develop my skills beyond my course, serving as a class assistant, managing real-world projects in the students' branch and interning in companies that taught me a lot about software and people. Currently, I focus on developing software at scale in the industry while also enjoying the opportunity to lecture at my alma mater.
Lecturing practical classes on subjects such as event-driven programming, systems-level programming, operating systems and software design. 2024/2025 S2 - Computer Laboratory (L.EIC018) 2025/2026 S1 - Operating Systems (L.EIC015) 2025/2026 S2 - Computer Laboratory (L.EIC018)
Developing software at scale, powering performant, privacy-preserving ad technology found in Kevel products.
During my internship at QubIT, I replaced a legacy code generator with a modern Kotlin DSL, enhancing the system’s performance and maintainability.
After 3 years of development, I finished my path at NIAEFEUP as the Project Team Leader for their mobile application. My work involved coordinating the agile software development team, making the bridge to the UI/UX team and of course helping tailor a vision for the future of the product.
In my two years as a member of the board, I was involved in all decision-making processes regarding future projects and events. My role also had me supervising our projects and developing infrastructure for project deployments.
My quick journey as a member before joining the board saw me continuing the development in our mobile application, now more steadily.
I was a 3-year class assistant for the "Computer Laboratory" course unit classes. My work involved active in-person tutoring of the student's development assignments, from Minix device drivers development to the holistic final project. That includes understanding the C language, reading device controllers specifications properly and knowing how to design a reactive application from a low-level perspective.
