    I wrote a book, out of the need to share my experience on what the real world of marketing and sales engagement messaging and success looks like. I also wanted to write a book about traveling around the world for 2 years and 70,000km on a motorbike....so I put both together. Why? Easy, both stories are about people. People you meet in moments that can change your life. People that you help and share with, people that help you, and what that means to your relationships. In marketing, we need to make sure that we have bucketloads of empathy with our customers - it's a good starting point. The book focuses on your journey with high-performing empathy messaging, that is delivered at the time your customer really needs it, or better still, didn't realise they needed it until they got your message. It's a book that gives tactical help and operational suggestions that you can put into play on Monday. The key point here is that this is a book about the real world, not a theoretical book with made-up stories, but a book from someone (me) who has walked the walk, tripped up, hurt himself, then tried another approach, then another, until success was born.
