Benedicto is a Certified Public Accountant with 11 years of experience in public practice. He handled audit engagements of companies from various industries including financing, manufacturing, real estate, mining, BPO, non-profit organizations, services, and branch offices of foreign companies. He also trained and managed different teams handling accounting, payroll, tax reporting, compliance review and technical and management consultancies. • Performs planning and control of work in order to accomplish tasks with the best utilization of time and resources. • Reviews audit work papers. • Reviews audited financial statements and management letters. • Conducts presentations during client kick-off meetings and clearance meetings. • Reviews financial statements, schedules of accounts, payroll, tax returns, and other government remittances. • Reviews and approves AP vouchers, check vouchers, and journal vouchers • Conducts final interview and overall evaluation and assessment of applicants (technical competence, character, etc.) • Conducts team’s organizational chart and staffing review. • Recommend staff promotions and merit increases based on submitted evaluation papers. • Ensures performance appraisals of team members are prepared and submitted on time. • Builds up supervisors.
