I built an AI company that worked with the DIA on national security. As the non-US-citizen CEO (Still not sure how anyone let me do that) Unsurprisingly, my friends think I'm a spy. In all fairness: I grew up in an ex-Soviet country, I did work for the DIA, and my hobbies don't help my case- race cars, cave diving, freediving, martial arts, trapeze in a circus.. I was born in Poland, in a small, working-class village with no real opportunities. Well, unless you wanted to mine coal. America was the dream you heard about and never actually imagined visiting. 30 years later, I live in Boston. I got here because my AI startup got into Techstars. We raised $1M, grew to about 20 people, took it from 0 to $7M, and made roughly every mistake possible along the way. That wasn't the first door I had to build for myself, and it wasn't the last. Before the startup, a real estate company that landed on HGTV three times. After it, an AI PM role at a Sequoia-backed company. A few months ago I quit that to do my own thing again. None of this was luck I was handed. It's luck I learned to engineer. Opportunities I built on purpose, starting from a place that had none. That's the whole reason I'm here. Product Manager owning growth, acquisition, activation, and monetization for Raindrop (a Sequoia-backed AI-native backend API platform - Claude Native Infrastructure for vibe coding), taking the product from zero to first 2000 users. Cross-functional ownership across engineering, design, developer relations, and marketing. • Drove the API acquisition funnel: 2,000+ developer signups in 3 months by orchestrating 10 in-person hackathons across the US plus a 3-month global online hackathon, turning developer communities into a primary acquisition channel. • Built an automated outreach system at 10–25% response rates, combining direct outreach with continuous customer discovery and user research to drive pipeline beyond events. • Built the developer activation funnel from scratch - defined the metrics chain (signup → API key → first successful call → week-2 retention), instrumented analytics, and surfaced the activation gap that shaped the product roadmap. • Managed the full feature pipeline across a 6-person engineering team - translating user feedback into a prioritized roadmap and maintaining high shipping velocity in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. • Vibe-coded product UI mockups for all core pages - directly shaped what engineering built and compressed design-to-build cycles without dedicated design resources. • Architected a PM Operating System in Claude Code - PRD drafting, automated changelog management, work mapping to tickets and PRs, and scope creep detection — saving 1 full day per week of PM overhead. • Built support automations including a Make.com integration, reducing support response time to minutes.
Founder & CEO of a venture-backed AI company - selected by Techstars (<1% acceptance) - building AIOps for the Department of Defense and US Intelligence Community.
