After being around in the business for 28 years in the Netherlands, my family and I moved to Finland to enjoy the fresh air, silence and nature around the corner. This new phase in my life, has influenced the way I look to architecture and building technology. I worked as a self-employed architect in the region of Rotterdam. I like to design solutions with the client in my thoughts. For that reason, you see that I have worked for private clients, businesses and organisations with a clear idea of what they want to achieve with their investment. I have made many designs from sketch up to the working details. I have combined this work with a part-time position at the Faculty of Architecture in Delft. Here I made students enthusiast to be the master of their project, not only how it should look like, but also how you can make it.
To solve a spatial puzzle is my passion. I like to make a smart design that can resist changes in the future. Changes in use, ageing will not tough the plans I'll try to make. Spatial innovations secure the change of use now and in the future Our specialities: Colour design, light design, the combinations of exteriors and interiors
Almost 20 years i enjoyed teaching the Technology of Architecture to numerous students. For an important part in the course Delft Seminars on Building Technolgy and with over 200 thesis students.
For a half year visited the university of Architecture, assisting in the wood studio. A great experience to exchange your working place for half a year. It was an exchange with my position at the university of Architecture in Delft
