• Trained on the new mega project by the central bank of Egypt for the new clearing cheques system • Clearing Procedures: Follow established clearing procedures for postdated and international cheques to ensure timely and secure processing. This may involve coordinating with other departments or external institutions for clearance and settlement. • Currency Conversion: Handle international cheques denominated in foreign currencies. Calculate exchange rates and process currency conversion according to applicable regulations and bank policies. • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls related to the processing of postdated and international cheques. This includes adhering to anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, and other relevant guidelines. • Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation of postdated and international cheque transactions. This includes keeping records of cheque details, clearance status, and any related correspondence or communications. • Overall, as a Postdated and International Cheques Officer, proficiency in understanding and utilizing SWIFT codes is essential for effectively managing the processing of international cheque transactions and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
